TMCC AND LEGACY

Are there any disadvantages to connecting the TMCC base to the Legacy base and can the TMCC controller run Legacy engines if connected.

There is really no disadvantage. You can use a CAB1 to operate Legacy engine by connecting the 2 but you will only get the basic non Legacy features. The only thing to remember is to remove the connection from the TMCC base from the track or common.

The only connection to the track or common should be from the Legacy base.
