Just received a couple of track vehicles from Nassau Hobby as part of their Holiday sale. Lionel TMCC Speeder and Inspection Truck.

Tried the speeder first on the track. Works Great! Kids will love it.

Tried the Inspection Truck. Lights up as soon as track is powered on..strobe works...can control light from the legacy remote, but it won't run. Starts for sec very slowly, then just stops. After a few seconds the Lockon trips out. Took it off. Cleaned bottom and track. Re-powered everything. Same issue. Put the speeder and GP35s on the track and they all run.

Any ideas??

If it is tripping the breaker is sounds like there is a short somewhere. I would first call Nassau Hobby and ask them about it. It could be a pinched wire or a bad part. I wouldn't power it up anymore until the problem is found and resolved. Nassau is a good dealer and has a knowledgeable staff that can help you.

If the breaker trips, clearly there is something wrong. Time to send the truck back for an exchange.
