Being more familiar with DCS I need a little help with a Lionel GS-2 that is equipped with TMCC. I do have a Command Base and a Cab 1 controller. I have connected the base up to the track per instructions. My question is this; when I put power to the track should the TMCC locomotive power up (lights on)? My DCS locos don't power up until I select a given loco and start it up. Shouldn't the TMCC GS-2 operate like my DCS locomotives under TMCC command control? What am I missing here?
