Do you ever check in with the guy/gal who is doing your to see how things are going? If so, how often? If you don't check in, I'm curious as to why you don't.

I know what you are saying.You have somebody you know you can trust.You know the work will be perfect.But it is possible for it to take forever.I am going through it AGAIN.Sometimes you have to push people.Almost an art if you will.You have to be upfront about your time frame as well.Nick
If you hire someone who is reliable, no need to baby sit your project. Track record is important in making a vendor selection.
But even with a good track record, don't you ever get curious to hear about the progress?
