Tpc problem | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I have two tpcs and a bpc running four blocks. I run all conventional. One tcp has become somewhat unresponsive. Tried resetting. Did the keypad sequence to ensure conventional mode. When I activate that bpc, it comes on, but straight to full power when I turn the legacy remote knob and does not respond to vary track voltage. Comm light indicates that I am communicating but cannot control voltage. Other bpc acts normal. Even tried tried switching the bpcs, but still unable to vary track power with that one. Track light stays full on. I am able to turn it off with remote. Is this bpc cooked or is there something else I can try? Thanks

When all else fails, reread and reread again manual from front to back and try everything twice. Turns out somehow the minimum stall voltage was programmed wide open. Happy engineering.

A reset to defaults is always the first thing I try for stuff like this.

I don't know much about TPCs but is it possible you set the stall voltage to all the way up by mistake?
