I've reached the point in building my layout where I will be laying track. Some of the track will ultimately be hidden and not ballasted which leads to my question.
How should that track be fastened down? Some do not recommend nails or screws due to sound transmission. Almost all of the hidden track rests on a 3.5" wide piece of plywood covered by a material similar to 12x12 ceiling tile. I was going to just use 1-1/4" brad nails.
