Well, I have finally completed the initial work on the new train room. It used to be my office, before I retired in July. This work has taken me some additional time due to some physical limitations. I'm not complaining, mind you, it's part of the life cycle. So, here are the pictures. The flooring is Race Deck, and I used the optional rubber cushions to reduce noise, and ease the strain on my legs while standing for long periods of time. The pictures where the flooring looks light a true yellow and brown represent the actual colors. The pictures where the yellows look more golden are with the room access door closed. The lighting in the remainder of the basement is done with daylight bulbs, and that light is influencing how the colors come out.
The last photo is at the top of the stairs to the basement.
