Afternoon all,

I've read that FasTrack switches have the best anti-derail capability, and that the manual ones can be operated faithfully by the engine forcing it to throw if it's not in the needed position.

I have gargraves track, I'm wondering if Ross switches can be used similarly

Will an approaching engine be able to reliably force the throw, or do you HAVE to wire up a switch motor and utilize block control to get it to throw to prevent derailment?

I want to add reversing loop to the Under the Tree layout

Thanks,

Buck
