Since I seen the topic for NS has been going for Thursday's, how about for Friday's it's UP. My first 2 photo's to start this topic are UP MOTX DDA40X #6944 trailing 4th on NS westbound freight 35N in Macedonia Ohio back on Sun June 7th, 2015 and also in Mentor Ohio back on Tuesday Oct 24th, 2017 of 2 UP GEVO's leading CSX eastbound intermodal Q008 in a golden sunset.

Boy, I hadn't seen one of those Union Pacific GM coaches in years.  State of the art from 1949.  They used to pick up passengers at stations on the Pasadena, Long Beach and Anaheim branches, and bring them to the East Los Angeles station for the City of Los Angeles, City of St. Louis, and Challenger.  In 1967, I came into East L.A. on the westbound City of Los Angeles, took the coach to the UP station in Fullerton, and walked home to my apartment.

Did you mean plural, as in Fridays, or does Friday own Union Pacific?

Bob, I'm meaning that you can post any photos you want, but like the NS Throughbred Thursday, I mean only any UP photos for Fridays during a weekday. Not a persons name or Restaurant.

That bus is really really cool.

Here below is my next photo of NS westbound freight 145 in Mentor Ohio back on Mon Jan 30th, 2017 lead by UP Gevo #8053.

No. It was being towed dead, as it does NOT have any prime movers in it, to Altoona Locomotive Works for cosmetic restoration and repainting. That was part of the "deal" for the loan of N&W Y6a from the Saint Louis Museum of Transportation. This occurred some 2 years ago, as I recall.

No, the ONLY remaining DDA40X that is operational, and still owned by Union Pacific, is unit #6936, and was/is occasionally used for executive trains.

Yes Brandy, Jack is right. Actually this DDA40X was put as MOTX instead of UP. Why? Because it came from and was going back to Museum of Transportation in St. Louis MO after the cosmetic restoration from Altoona which I was very pleased about. The video below, is the same location as the photos. And 6944 was dead in tow. But the past 2 days before, they had air hose issues and air problems in Conway and couldn't leave until this day I saw it in Macedonia. Anyway, here's the video below.
