I have a couple of BEEPs that already have TMCC via the older ERR Beep Commander boards.  I know that "worth it" is highly subjective.  I'm primarily interested in slow speed operation. BEEPs already have good slow speed control, even in conventional, thanks to the design. The kids love running the BEEPS because they are easier to line up to some of the more precise accessories such as the horse corral, cars that operate via the magnetic track (operating boxcar, single shot dump cars, etc) than they are with our larger TMCC engines.

Is the cruise lite a significant upgrade in slow speed control for a BEEP?

On a related note, I thought I saw discussions on here about a sub $50 cruise board for small engines... is the ERR Cruise Lite the right one?  Is there a secret place to purchase from?  I'm only finding much higher prices.

Thanks,
Andy

I can only assume slow speed performance will improve. I have the original Beep Commander as well, but have used ERR cruise boards in other applications. I have a second Beep still running conventional I might try a Cruise Lite in. Big advantage is it will drive electro couplers. As for the price 50 bucks was the introductory price. I stocked up. What are they listing for now?

It is my understanding that the original Beep Commander and v2 both also support electro couplers.

The current prices for the Cruise Lite look to be $79 from ERR or somewhat less from Modern Toy Train Parts (out of stock and Bill is busy healing and will be off work for a while).   I think Bill had them at sub $40 for a while.  Wish I had jumped on that.

Did you happen to stock up enough to want to sell for less than the current going price?
