First off i would like to sent a big thank you out to Gunrunner for taking the time to respond to my emails with what i am sure to him was very novice questions regarding installing bridge rectifiers on my Berkshire. There is a previous post regarding some rail sounds issues with my loco because the voltage requirements to activate railsounds was alot higher than what the motor in the berkshire required to chug around the track. Picked up (4) 4amp 100volt bridge rectifers and wired them in between the board and motor leads. Not only does the rail sounds work better but the headlight is brighter and the smoke unit works better as they still receive the regular voltage.
