Stewart, I don't think they will run out any time soon, but they are a great price, and should prove really popular.
Trainworld is selling them for about the same.

Does Trainworld have all four road names?
Doubtful that any of those "sellers" actually have the locomotives available at this point. I would advise folks to exercise a bit more patience and wait until they are actually in stock at major dealers. You don't need to be the first kid on the block to get one (you won't be in any case), so you might as well wait a few more days to see which established dealers offer the best price. It's not at all likely that the availability of these new engines will be limited.
Don't count on the GP-30's before New Years day! Maybe some time near the middle of January would be closer to the day the new GP-30's are on the street.
Basically to go along with Allen Miller on here, I don't know for sure that they are more than just off the shipping container from China, although he didn't say those exact words that is what he is hinting at. The horse is still in the stable, or being led to the starting gate, to quote horse racing terms about the location of the new product.
I used to get excited to hear about new products and when they would be out, but after a couple of companies in O gauge trains kept delaying the new products, I say when I see it at a train show or in a local hobby shop, that is when I will beleive it.
Maybe a little off track here but I consider catalogs as wish books, books that contain stuff that you wish the companies would really make!

You still may see these locomotives in time for Christmas and/or New Years, but remember that once containers arrive, the items have to be inventoried and spot-checked by Bachmann before they can be placed in the distribution network. This doesn't happen overnight, but I can assure folks that the engines have arrived at Bachmann and they will certainly do their best to expedite delivery.
One ebay seller claims to have them ready........but I don't even have the $$ right now anyway.......but a NYC and ACL would be nice!!!
Watch those sellers who claim to have an item which hasn't hit dealers yet...been burned by that one before. All worked out in the end but was a pain.

I wish they came in more than one road number, or had a dummy. Then I would be a buyer.
I like to buy a pair of diesels for my pike.
Mario of Mario's Trains, the seller of the GP30's I mentioned, has confirmed that they are in stock.
Perhaps a few of you should step back and hold your comments until you know the full story. Since the GP-30's are a hot topic, I thought I would post about the first sighting so other forum members could start shopping prices.
They are in his eBay shop, not the online shop.
I got a email from Charles Ro last night that they are having a sale on Williams trains. GP-38's for $109.95 just one of many.

I'd be interested in the Great Northern, but only if WBB got the orange color reasonably correct. Without actually seeing one (unlikely since there aren't any dealers anywhere even close to this area), unless someone posts an accurate picture or makes a good report, I wouldn't risk a purchase.
Paul,
I don't see any mention of the GP-30s in the link to Charles Ro. Is it somewhere else on their website?
GP30s and GP38s--two very different animals as far as the WBB items are concerned.
