Here are two views of Goodman's feed mill at Port Royal PA. It was built from a Walther's kit  (now Atlas). Only remaining work is the application of the signage. The prototype can be seen in the black & white image.

This is a Downtown Deco Chinese restaurant kit made out of Hydrocal. This is the first time I have ever put together a kit made of this type of material. I must say it was an easy kit to build and I am pleased with it.

The only changes I added was an outside led light by the front door and drain pipes by the front side of the building.

Continuing to finish up on my PW-style layout. One of the fun parts of this is acquiring all of the accessories. I try to use actual PW pieces rather than remakes.

Picked up this 455 oil derrick which is in just fabulous shape. Was a little dusty and needed a new heat bulb but otherwise close to pristine.

New arrivals this week: a  repro Ives 195 caboose, and the repro Stephen Girard 3-car passenger set.

Also received my THIRD (and final- as I don't want four) 444 roundhouse section. However, that is staying cozy in its shipping box next to the boxed 200 turntable until I someday get that layout expansion.

New MTH Premier Soo Line 40' steel refrigerator cars from Mr. Muffin's Trains arrived. 

Here is one of the steel refrigerator cars next to a Lionel SOO LINE 40' PS-1 boxcar.

The new Lionel ATSF Santa Fe PS-2-CD 4427 Cu Ft 3-bay covered hopper arrived at the Hobby-Sport shop in the past week. The roof hatch does not actually open on this one. 

It is next to an Atlas O Santa Fe PS-2-CD 4427 low-sided covered hopper.

Just a quick fix on our Dreyfuss Hudson.

New Smoke element fitted.

Old one was a bit toasty 

Re packed the smoke unit with new batting.

smokes ok but I think this one may get a fan driven unit and Guns Super Chuffer.

My Son Brody saying "hi" from the open air car on the Ulster and Delaware Rail Road. My family and I visited the railroad today and checked out there fall foliage ride which was absolutely beautiful.
