Some other bits around the track the old 1980's 2-4-2 an old new/old stocked crane car & a couple of shots of the layout.James
Latest project- 3RS and detail a Norfolk Southern SD60 to represent an as-delivered long hood forward unit. Modifications included fixing the pilots, enlarging and lowering the stock high water fuel tank, adding lift rings, antenna, bell and re-orienting the crew and horn for the correct long hood forward configuration. I still need to add the 'F' on the frame on the long hood end.

Yes it is a Korber building.
I'd say your dad is a very good bridge builder.
yes he is, this is first bridge that he has built. he is a blacksmith by trade so I would guess that this would come easy to him from what he normally makes for customers
Went by a friend's house that does not have a computer...can you believe in this day and age, no computer. He just received some of LIONEL's newest Auto Carriers.
Anyway, I told Jerry that I wanted to post these pictures on the forum's Weekend Photo fun. I hope you all enjoy them.

Your friend needs to get with it and buy a computer and JOIN OUR FORUM. I would love to see more of this beautiful layout.
Thanks for the good words Brian. He is a great friend and comes to our Wednesday morning breakfast. I loved the new Auto Carriers and also the newest Woodland Scenics buildings.
Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Went to the Western Prototype Modelers meet in San Bernardino today. Saw some impressive work. Just about everything was done in H.O. scale, but there was another O scaler showing models besides me. I did get some positive comments and learned a few things.
An H.O. Free-Mo group had a point-to-loop setup in the Museum side of the Depot. As always, their work was impressive
Bill Martines, a local 3-rail O gauge operator had quite a display out.
This was a creative way to display equipment,
Tom Stumph did some very nice N Scale dioramas.
Saw this half-covered autorack.
Some rookie put in these two. I was paid what I consider the ultimate compliment, though -- several people took photos and several asked questions. They were surprised that I can run these on 3-rail track.

Nice pics Matt! Like that C&NW unit a lot - just awesome!
\I took this shot of the Clare Depot in Clare, MI a few years ago. It was serviced by the Ann Arbor Railroad on one side and the Pere Marquette Railroad on the other. Each had their own wing. It has sat empty for many years and has been in disrepair. The town now owns the depot, purchased from the Great Lakes Central, and are in the middle of moving the depot away from the active tracks. It will be moved down the road to the old Pere Marquette right away that is now a rail-trail. It will serve as a museum and the trail entrance.
In 2009 we took the Cadillac Fall Double header trip behind the 1225 & 765 and it ran right by the depot. I don't have a photo of the train at the depot but here it is on a run by just south of Cadillac.

Thanks Jeff. I have a C40-8 to do a weathering job on. As it's an older unit, I'm going to try to "age" it a little more

CNW had a similar depot at a junction. Can't remember where it was. Glad this one's being restored/repurposed.

Impressive, Jonathan!!
While I am first a steam fan, I remember the PCC trollies in Pittsburgh, and am always impressed with modelers who string wire of their electrics. Keep us posted!
