Some rookie put in these two. I was paid what I consider the ultimate compliment, though --  several people took photos and several asked questions. They were surprised that I can run these on 3-rail track.

Matt,

Nice work, maybe they think we are electrically and flange challenged

The 2 rail wheel sets work OK thru the switches at the club?

They seem to do alright on the #5 (11-degree) Ross turnouts. The C-truck diesels and my Hudson don't care for the O-72's that much (they'll go through them slowly but sometimes bump/derail) but the B-truck diesels (U25's, GP38's, GP35's) don't seem to have issues with them. The only O-72 turnouts are in low-speed areas so they're taken at about 15 SMPH.

The real problem is uneven track where one of the running rails has a rise or depression that lets the small flanges walk out of the rails. Here again, the B-truck diesels pretty much take it in stride, but the C-truck diesels will find those bad spots. They work well with FasTrack curves, though, provided they're 36" radius (O-72) or larger without any reverse-curves.

Added some heavyweight 6 wheel truck HO passenger cars to a layout from just 4 wheel truck streamliners. Those 6 wheel trucks found every darn place with track issues and derailed!! We spent an entire day shimming the track, and some places twice when a later correction made the earlier one bad again...

Anyway, I told Jerry that I wanted to post these pictures on the forum's Weekend Photo fun. I hope you all enjoy them.

Very nice. Do you know what the diameter of the track loop with the auto racks is?
