start of a new building
Earlier this week I added marker lights to the rear of my superliner train. Then, I had to turn out the lights to see how they looked.
I noted the LED headlight looked really bright. I wondered how that would look passing a train?
Pretty good. How would it look approaching the station?
Well, you get the idea. Then into the station.
And finally, the last superliner in the station.

So on Friday after work I came home to a budding railroad empire in the kitchen:
...and we took a trip to the train store today. My daughter (age 6) was totally enamored with an HO caboose kit (growing up with O-gauge, she thinks little trains are "cute"). She ended-up spending her own money to buy it, and can't wait to put it together. I'm pretty excited to help her with it, even if my little traitor is slipping toward the Dark Side

As usual. There are some great Photos and yes I have finger cramp.
Sirt gives us a tease with the behind the scenes.
J Daddy looks like he is having way to much fun.
Walt continues to take us down memory lane.
Joe A gets better by the week. Soon maybe he will be giving SIRT lessons.
Rich, The CR SD40 night shot looks great!!
PENNSYFAN: That would of been a cool scene. To bad you didn't have the room.
Gary always look forward to your videos. Although CB&Q/GN/NP are my main interest. I always liked the look of MRL engines. Of course MRL is a by product of the BN and the BNSF mergers.
FRIZZINBEE. Looks like you will have to give them their own train room soon.
Any way here's mine.

The Clark W. Griswold family passed through Caprock, Texas, in their Wagon Queen Family Truckster, en route to Wally World (with an unscheduled stop in Phoenix, to unload Aunt Edna). Clark caught up to the morning Greyhound, and figured that tailgating the bus would make it go faster.

B&O Bill, is that a Tucker parked at the TV repair shop?
Just curious,
Larry
"B&O Bill, is that a Tucker parked at the TV repair shop?"
Leapin' Larry: I didn't pay attention to it when I took the shot, but I think it might be. I'll check with the owner by email tonight and see if I can find out for sure.
Well, this may no longer be the weekend but the pictures of the Tracker's layout were taken yesterday at the Beltsville (MD) Day Festival I was too tired from the show to post them yesterday (Bill has too much energy).
Larry, that is indeed a Tucker, built by my grandfather's company (at least that is what I tell everyone). Here's another partial shot of it.
There was another Tucker on the layout, seen as the last car in this pic.
Here are some more pics from yesterday.

The kitchen takeover is priceless. You have taught them well, Dustin. Alexa is a builder. Get her a couple of O scale kits off eBay (a vintage All Nation and an Intermountain) and it will protect her from the easy access and instant gratification of H.O.
By the way, you did a fantastic job on the roof for the brewery building.
