Nice service platforms! where did you get them or are they scratchbuilt?

I'll butt into this one and tell you that's a plaster RH kit from Dennis Brennan. The service platforms came from Dave at Crescent Locomotive Works.

Nice job on your layout. The log fascia is a nice touch, I don't think I have seen this used before. Living in a log home, I can appreciate this application.

PTC...thanks for the kind words. That is actually a (pretty lame) attempt at a rock cliff around the entire edge of the layout. I originally did it around the tunnel portals, as you can see behind the church and house in the 4th photo and later followed up on all exposed wood around the layout. It is bunched up newspaper covered with plaster cloth, then covered with Sculptamold, than painted. Not the most realistic but it does look decent in person and is durable and easily touched up.

I have many more photos I can post later of the Moscow Train Museum.
I also visited a logging train museum about 100 miles east of Moscow.
It is amazing to a 61 year old guy that I can freely walk around Moscow.

Something different! Please post more photos! All outdoors and no rust? I want train assylum!

They are a custom run from Sandpit Trains in Orange, CT.  The only problem is that they spelled my name wrong...

Andy, you ought to see what "they" do with 'Saucier', down here in redneck country!! Not only the spelling but the pronunciation!

Thanks,  I don't see them on Dennis' website.  The front would be great for me, the sides would have to be modified a bit to be more ATSF prototypical, but an excellent model.  I didn't see them listed on the website so I guess they are gone.  Irregardless, I'll contact Dennis and ask.

Thanks for the reminder Andy. I forgot all about these. I just went to the guy's house and picked up two for myself and an HO version for the club.
