Excellent photos!  I like the Bakken shall oil train.  They are drilling Marcellus shale oil here in Western Pennsylvania.  My favorite uncle's last name was Bakken.  He had some HO trains when I was little and gave me my first Kalmbach books and some building kits after I bought my first HO train set.

As the self-appointed Information Minister of the Isle of Denial, I cannot remain in possession of BNSF equipment for an extended period without taking corrective measures. So I started "corrective measures" on a pair of BNSF-patched GP30's (apologies to forum member Stangerdude from whom I bought them as he had nicely corrected them to BNSF configuration). Going to correct them back to the proper ATSF GP30u configuration. Found that Testor's Model Master Insignia Yellow is very very close to the yellow MTH used on the locomotives. I already have a decent stock of Microscale O scale Santa Fe hood unit decals. The original BNSF patch numbers were #2469 and #2436, which I'm correcting back to #2771 and #2736, respectively.

For reference, here's how they were when I bought them:

Here's the look I'm going for eventually:

I agree!  That photo is worthy of going on the front cover of a Lionel catalog or a magazine!!

My two children are what got me back into the hobby after 12 years.  They loved reacting the "ice across the tracks" scene from the movie as well as the continuously pressing the whistle button.
