Today, 9-1-14 all Lionel Railroader Club members (LRRC) become Lionel Collectors Club of America (LCCA) members. Welcome to the LCCA! On behalf of LCCA club President Dennis DeVito, the entire volunteer Board of Directors and Officers, and all of the current LCCA members we extend our sincere welcome all of you. This is your club now and we invite you to participate and be involved to the level you enjoy the most. Most of all, we want you to have FUN! As a new LCCA member, Welcome to the Lionel Collectors Club of America!
For those of you not familiar with the LCCA, we are a not-for-profit, volunteer organization with thousands of men, women and children sharing an interest in Lionel trains. Founded in 1970 by Jim Gates of Perry IA, LCCA members live all around the world, but predominantly in the United States. The purpose of the club is to promote and foster an interest in Lionel trains specifically and toy trains in general and have fun while doing it.
This is our 45th Anniversary year and we welcome you to the yearlong celebration. We will be announcing Special Events, New Products and a series of activities to celebrate. Our club is proud of its communications with members - you will always know what is going on by checking in our publications.
