CTA- I think they are pretty close. I am happy with them.
The K-Line cars are very close. Lots of photos can be seen on the "official" Freedom Train web site and if you check out the "Galleries" section of the site, you can see one dedicated to DOC's Freedom Train in action.
And for anyone really interested in the AFT, the site has links to a couple of DVD's that are must haves for any AFT fan.

Thank you for the link.

If you make a video of your AFT on youtube, please post it on the OGR Forum
I still miss K-Line
Next time I take it to a show I will do that. I think many would like to see all 18 Kline Freedom Train Cars. Plus the MTH baggage.Total 19. I bet when I run it at shows no one will know that the Baggage is has painted doors.
Thanks,
I learned much from all the interesting perspectives, especially that the catalog showed them correctly painted.
your solution is a good one.
This is not the best picture due to the low light in the room, but it shows the MTH AFT baggage car from the first release of the set. They did it right back then, too bad they couldn't do it right this time.

Double disappointment!!!! Not only are the doors painted/configured wrong, the car number doesn't match the catalog either!!!!!! I bought this set for that number (33) on the car. I was going to fix the doors anyway but now i have to repaint and stripe them as well as renumber the car. My first reaction to this was to refuse the cars I ordered through my local LHS. I have decided that I will support him and fix the cars myself.
Don't know why MTH can just make what they put in the catalog!
I feel better now.

Cappilot- Thanks for posting the picture of the baggage from the first release with the correct doors. Yes they did it right the first time.
Nice GG1 also I want to get that one someday.
