What is needed to add TMCC to Hogwarts Loco?

Ok, so I've read a lot of posts on this but I just need a definitive answer on one thing....

When I'm on the ERR site can I just buy the new Cruise Commander Lite and have cruise and TMCC control or do I need a separate board for the TMCC control part? If I could get away with just buying the $49 small board I'd go for it in a heartbeat!

I just want cruise control and TMCC remote control. Sound is not important to me at this time. With such a small can motor in that loco I figured by the description I wouldn't need the full commander board as it sounded like the "lite" or "mini" was made for smaller motorized stuff? Am I right on this?

According to the purchase site it says CC Lite and R4LC so that is a fantastic deal since the R4LC (R2LC) is $40 alone. You do plug in a R2LC into the CC Lite. I would call and confirm. G

The cruise lite includes the R4LC. (C08 code) along with wires, run/program switch and antenna. It also includes capacitors for installing LED lighting. Visit our web for excellent deals on ERR products. The Lite is all you need to upgrade the Hogwarts to Tmcc.

Bill is right, it's a steal right now. I have a bunch of these, and I'm already using them up, so I'm ordering more before the prices go back up to the normal selling price. Last time I heard, the MSRP was going to be $99.95 after the first of the year.

My Hogwarts locomotive is looking fine with the CC-Lite, small steam RSC, MTH fan driven smoke, and a Super-Chuffer.
