Here's a link to Station Square
Eddie G, my grandmother used to sing that song all the time. LOL Man that brings back some memories. LOL But your right, Pittsburgh is a good place for standing on the corner watchin' all the girls go by... especially on a windy day. I used to work in town (Pittsburgh) and there are a lot of girls there at least there used to be. Wait until lunch time though.
Go across the Smithfield St bridge and wait on the end of the bridge at the Station Square end until a train comes thru. Then stand on the bridge above the tracks, look over the side of the bridge as the train goes under. That's a weird and scary feeling. Looks like the train is going to slam into the bridge. That's fun.

It's no secret to any baseball fan that the Pirates have THE single most beautiful baseball park in America, even though as a baseball fan myself I've always wanted to see a game in Wrigley.

Yes, you should take in a game. I don't know what teem you root for, but regardless it will be a good experience. Wrigley would be a good experience. I recall wanting to see Crosley Field in Cincinnati when I was a teenager. I only saw Forbes Field.

I hope this place is still here?
J Daddy,
It is indeed still there. Drove by... sort of (opposite side of river) yesterday evening and took a picture. A little far, but it gets the point across!

Jim,
My father-in-law has a Firebird that was supposedly in Striking Distance. There is paperwork saying so that came with it, however after watching the movie a time or two since then, I have yet to see it.
