Radio Shack,Lionel,MTH?
If you want the actual Lionel and MTH connectors, I'll post the numbers later, I'm just running out the door now and I'll have to look them up.

thanks gunner.. Just re did my smoke unit like Mike regan showed on you tube.. Did this to a MTh smoke unit.WOW she really puts out the smoke now!..I need concetors so when I re do this whole train sound system and light wiring it will look like a pro did this train.
Specifically which connectors are you looking for? The ones I was talking about are the actual connectors on the Lionel and MTH control boards. There are also the connectors that MTH uses all around on their wiring harness, I don't happen to have a number for those.
MTH Connector types.
3V PS2: Tyco/ AMP 2.0mm HPI Connectors
5V PS2 Hirose DF3 product line 2mm spacing
its the the type they conect into there boards.. the two wire job.like these.
I don't happen to have the number for those.
That is a Proto-1 board. Maybe an MTH tech could help you identify the proper mating connector.
The same style connectors are used in the PS/2 wiring harness. See image below...

Thats it john. Want to do my S1 the wright way...I was going to sell it,but changed my mind since 2 things happened.. 1 got a fan driven smoke unit in it and it smokes great!
I believe they are jst connectors. This is just one of the places to buy them. These have the pigtails already attached.

I have a number of plugs that I got out of old/broken computers and printers. Whenever I junk one I always pop it open and removed screws, belts, plugs, ect and put them in a box, never know when you'll find a use.
If you have a thrift store nearby you might be able to pick one up cheap. You can even make good use of the power supplies and fans in them.

Me too. Anything concievably useful that breaks goes in the spare parts bin. I've ended up with gobs of connectors, fans, plugs, motors, gears, rachets, etc., etc.
If that fails, I have always found something I can make something I find at Radio Shack work out . . . .
However, I recommend going through a Micro-mark catalog and just buying everything your intuition tells you be useful down the road - not the expensive stuff ike a metal lathe, but the tiny stuff like a flexible motor shaft connector or such -- I just went page by page and if I thought I might need it someday, I ordered it. Yes, the list will mount up in price surprisingly quickly. But for the cost of a medium range loco I stocked up on lots of tiny connectors, sprochets and chains, motor adaptors, LEDs, etc., etc., etc., etc., and that has proven useful many, many times.
