Wiring a Lionel # 497 coaling station for TMCC control

I need a little advice on wiring a modern Lionel 497 coaling station 6-14107 for TMCC control. I think the two HC outputs using a ERR mini commander will be utilized for forward and reverse functions of the coaling tray with can style motors and diodes in series with each output. The other thing is how can I operate the chute mechanism using one of the LC outputs? Will I need some sort of driver board for the LC output to feed into to provide the needed current to pull the chute? Anyone have any ideas?
