I am getting ready to wire my new layout. I am going to do several power drops about every 6 joins of track or so to make sure I have good power around the layout. My question is do I need to do the same thing with the Legacy wire going to the track, or will one wire be enough? Thanks!

Tim, one wire will do just fine.
One wire per track as long as they are all connected together at some point. If you have separate loops you will have to run a wire to it
First time I have heard about a drop for each loop. I only have one drop for each loop.

If the loops are not connected at all then you should run a wire to each of them. Remember the connection does not have to be track, it could be a shared common on the transformer
That said many have found that if the loops are close enough, the signal will still jump loop to loop.
I think this is a bit confusing...
One wire per track as long as they are all connected together at some point.
I think you meant to say 1 per layout as long as all the track commons are electrically tied together.
Yea that was it
