Dennis sounds like you might like a small carpet loop to keep you occupied on occasion. If you want to borrow something conventional/ tubular for the winter, Ill ship it to you. You can return it when you hit the Detroit area again.

Detailing, or just building a kit, or two might keep your spirits high when bored too. Any how, glad the zombie potions wore off ok, and things are working out for the best

You know the "button" banter progressed so well, its hard to believe this wasn't just a setup for a few good jokes.

Wow Dennis, what a story!  I am glad you are feeling better.

Yes shellfish can do a number on some people.  My wife can't eat any seafood at all.  She can't even take Glucosamine/Condroitin like I do because shellfish are in it.  Now I see they have shellfish free, but haven't gotten her to take the chance.

It is sad the trains are back home, but I agree just be happy to be recovering.

Dennis,

i forgot got to mention that when they put the defib/pacemaker in me I spent the recovery time making an elevated subway station.  There was nothing heavier than a glue gun.

I am one of those nuts who cannot sit still but that little project helped  pass the recovery time.

I knew I had to find something to do when I found myself sitting on the sofa one morning watching Jerry Springer !!!!!

Ed

Wow, you guys are great.

Adriatic:  thanks for the offer, really thanks, but I fear our 1 year old dog would have it full of bite holes before I got the train back to you.

Ed:  Ironically, last year I brought five model kits down here along with a box full of model tools, paints, glue, etc.  I never touched them.  With the cooperative weather for golf, visitors, and the modest size of our condo, my wife was loathe to me having a mess set up anywhere.  It wouldn't do to put everything away periodically.  I will prevail next year (ahem).

I am taking turns walking the dog and catching up on my reading.  I'm on my fourth book already.

I"ve had my Defibulator/pacemacker since 09 and I abuse the rules. I play my electric guitars, move my amps with the oversized magnets in the speakers. Run my trains with DCS. I'm a automotive technician by trade and work on operating engines with operating alternators and no issues.

As for playing golf, I think you might be playing minature golf for awhile. It took me 3 months before I could raise my left arm over my shoulder.

Wow!  I've got you beat there.  I can already do that after one week.  Doc. says I can play golf in four weeks.  Only three left to go.  About 5 months before I can play with my trains though.

Sorry guys that this thread about myself is dragging on so long but guys keep adding comments that I feel like answering.

Good to hear that you can raise your arm.

I'm a little confused why you can't run trains for 5 months.
