The first TCA Train Meet & Show in Florida this year will be held on Saturday, January 18th at Lopez Hall in Pinellas Park in the Tampa Bay area near Clearwater and St. Petersburg. This show is open to the public from 10 am to 3 pm.
This will be the 25th consecutive year the TCA Southern Division has hosted a winter train show in the Tampa Bay area, and this will be our first show at Lopez Hall. Many other events including other train shows are frequently held in this facility so you may have been there before.
Lopez Hall is located at 7177 58th Street in Pinellas Park. The venue offers free parking, a wheelchair accessible entrance and a kitchen which offers food for purchase. In addition, it’s only 6 blocks from one of the best model train stores in the USA, Zitnik Trains, which will be open on the day of the show!
Admission: $5.00/person (cash only) and free admission to a child 12 and under when accompanied by an adult. All children 12 and under will receive a free toy at the check-in table.
Activities: Old & New Toy & Model Trains For Sale and On Display, Operating Train Layouts, a Test Track, Door Prize Drawings for Adults and Children throughout the day, a Children’s Play Area and a Scavenger Hunt for families.
