Trains and Coffee Saturday April 9 Placentia CA

Trains and Coffee
Saturday, April 9
Duke’s Café: 2099 E Orangethorpe Ave, Placentia CA
8 AM - 11 AM (New Start Time)

We've been doing Trains and Coffee for two years and it's still SoCal's only free, outdoor, model railroad swap meet. Last month we had another lot full of vendors selling trains, train accessories, toys, and lots of other great stuff. We're expecting a good turnout of vendors again plus there'll be operating train layouts to enjoy. AND, don't forget there will be full-size trains to watch on the BNSF main line right across the street.

SELLERS: Want to sell? Bring a table, chairs and a shade or just pop open your trunk. Two parking spaces per seller maximum (including vehicle parking). You may move your vehicle elsewhere in the lot after unloading if you wish. Provide a bottle of hand sanitizer on your table for buyers' use.

Duke's will be open for indoor dining and carry-out orders. Restrooms are available.

COVID-19 Safety Guidelines:
Please do not attend if:
- you or a household member have tested positive for COVID-19 or if you have been in contact with someone who has tested positive
- you have flu-like symptoms such as cough, headache, dizziness, diarrhea, or fever,
Not fully vaccinated? Please wear your face mask.

Directions: from CA-91, take the Lakeview exit and head north. (Do not enter the express lanes). Duke’s is on the NW corner of Lakeview and Orangethorpe about 1.4 miles north of the freeway. Exit onto Orangethorpe from the far right lane of Lakeview as you cross the railroad overpass.

Well, I'm gonna miss another of your events.  One of these times, I will be free to make a trip on short notice and be there.  I grew up in Brea, not far from there, and ran engines for 14 years through there when it was the end of two main tracks on the Santa Fe.  It would be nice to meet a few Forumites from north Orange County someday.  And Dukes has been on my radar for my next visit to relatives in the area.
