I am very familiar with the Pennsylvania Congressional Aluminum Car set made by Lionel. I think that its nice and have the complete 6 car set. I am toying with the idea of adding the Pennsylvania Broadway Limited to my layout. Those are the passenger cars painted a Tuscan red.

Has any manufacturer, produced this set?  If so were they made in plastic or aluminum? Hopefully O gauge and not scale as the curves are not on my layout are not all 072. All replies appreciated.

Sent you an e-mail.

Thanks for the tips guys. The Golden Gate cars are great, the MTH set is very nice and still can be found at a reasonable price as Mike has indicated. The only problem is that they are 19" long. On my layout I had to use a variety of curves and in one corner I even used one section of 031. A couple of 042 curves are used as well. I was hoping to find 15" cars like the ones that Lionel made in the NYC 20th Century Limited style during the early 1990's. The scale cars do look better but we are "curve limited " right now.

Just about every manufacrurer has made the PRR Broadway Ltd set. It depends on whether you want full interiors or are ok with the silouettes. Williams made that set LL608 in 15" cars as probably Lionel and MTH did. Search MTH site, the Lionel site, also search the williams by bachman catalog / website. Ebay also will have them from time to time. K-Line also made them but only now available on ebay. Atlas might have them but I think they would be 16". Still should work for you.

Good Luck, lots to choose from.
