Hi Folks,

We finally received our container a few days ago with the EA/E1 and Milwaukee cars. We have finished shipping all paid orders of the EA and E1s. We are holding for those that have sent deposits for Layaways. We are now sold out of all the B&O Sets. We have a few of the Santa Fe E1s in Early and Late scheme, 2R and 3R. But not many so if you wanted one of these, you better act quickly.

I've included shopping cart buttons for your convenience. You can use any credit card securly.

See the link Below.

The Hiawatha cars arrived in the same container. We have sorted them and will be pulling all orders for shipping next week.

Thank you all for your continued support and patience during the import process. Our models were ready for the container on June 15th. We received them on August 22nd. That's 2 months and a week to get them here. I could have swam faster.

It's just the way of things. We go with the flow, and appreciate you doing as well.

The next project in line is are the Milwaukee EP3 Electrics. We still have some open reservations for these.

The E5/E6 project is also in process as well as the 1948 20th Century cars. These should all arrive in January 2023.

Then early next year we should get the Chessie cars and maybe the GP79s, as the SD40-2 is still in the design phase.

The SD40-2 should be done 2023 Quarter 1. We will keep all of you who reserved up to date.

All other projects are in process depending on their reservations.

Again, Thank You for your help in reserving, committing and supporting us to continue to make the very best models we can.

Regards,

Scott Mann

What is the status of the various slumber coaches including the Amtrak versions?

Good question. If Scott didnt mention it, its probably on the bsck burner with reservations coming in slow. I guess all the excitement and enthusiasm for scale Amfleet and Viewliners 1st run didn't translate to an uptick on reservations for Amtrak Slumbercoach cars.

I’ve been hoping the Slumber Coach run can get tacked onto another aluminum passenger car run to help both get to the numbers needed to get them moving to production. 🤔

I’d like to see the Amtrak done for Phase 3 AND a rerun of Phase 1.  Just different decals.

Didn't GGD already run some Slumber Coaches in the past?  Should be a simple re-run.  Slumber coach is a must for any Amtrak Fan.  I consider the Early Amtrak and Heritage equipment to be much more interesting than Amfleet.  But yeah I consider Amfleet very important as well.  For some reason I am not a fan of the Genesis series.  Perhaps I am used to seeing them often in the "ho-hum" error of Amtrak.  i.e. Crescent with 7-8 cars vs the Heritage days when consists often had 10-15 cars.  The SDP40f s are a must as well as they are very attractive and scream 1970's Amtrak.  Maybe we will even get a true Rainbow consist one day.
