Cabinet Bob (Mark); What is the brown material you use for roads? Looks quite pliable, which is something for which I'm looking.

Everything on the layout came from Menards, minus the engine and switches.the road bed also come from there during the holiday season,it was located in their holiday building display which looked like woodland scenics .
CABINET BOB, first chance I had to say your constinently changing layout is looking great. I like the way you have used all the buildings. Interesting track plan. If you ever run out of lots to build on I will be more then glad to lease space on my layout to you. I would also allow visitations rights to you LOL Paul
Wanted, loving adopted or foster parents with large train layout for affectionate O gauge train lover without a layout but with all Menards train buildings, box cars, hoppers, military stuff, thousands of trees, box trucks etc. but no brewery!Contact Play Trains! LOL

Sounds like you want to go live with Bob and his wife! If so you might want to bring some shoes! I know bob can build more room for any Menards stuff! Good Luck!

Mike, I already asked Bob several times! No answer! I think he's holding out for someone young and beautiful which I am not for sure! But very sincere with a nice personality! LOL

Now that's what I am talking about! A TEAM player! I bet if Mark were to look he could see it also! Well then again maybe not, it takes a special type of glasses for some!
I wish we could receive additional clues over the weekend.
Todays the day, I'm hoping for a building that's on the smaller side. My real estate is getting tighter.

Frank, just do what Bob does and buy more Real estate! LOL
I wonder Mike, if there is any truth to the rumor that Bob's neighbors keep their basements locked so they don't wake up in the morning and find that Bob has started a layout down there while they were asleep! LOL
I would have to say that space is becoming a premium in Bob's house. And I doubt very much if there is any negotiating for more space in the shoe room. I heard the neighbors set up a group to prevent Bob from claiming their basements under the eminent domain act. I offered him a deal he couldn't refuse but still waiting to see if he wants to sign a lease LOL. And it is Wednesday ...where is the new building announcement. I have my reefers lined up for loading LOL.................Paul
Play Trains and Paul, Knowing Bob I would think he had already tunneled to the neighbors basements and is running track in the tunnels to all his new towns! He probably already has East Marnedsville, and West Menardsville started without anyone knowing!
Plus that way he doesn't have to buy the little lady any more shoes! LOL

Add floodlights and power to your O gauge military!
This Military Generator Car not only features 2 swiveling LED floodlights and a generator, but its lights can also rotate a full 360° and pivot to nearly any angle. The generator is an impressive piece with its authentic olive drab paint scheme and U.S. military markings. And, because safety is important, its O scale engineer is wearing a hardhat and bright orange safety vest. On this beautiful display, he can’t be missed!
This 14-3/4” generator car rides super low and boasts a real-wood composite deck. It also includes die-cast couplers with fully sprung trucks and a swing-type drawbar, so navigating an O27 curve is no problem at all!
The floodlights are battery operated and will illuminate with the addition of 2 “AA” batteries (sold separately).

is it just me or is the flag on backwards??
Pretty nice. Looks like it is worth the purchase just to get that generator model.

I also think its backwards
the blue field on the flag always leads. If the near side of the car in the picture is intended to be the starboard side, and forward motion to the right, then the flag is properly displayed

The US flag is orientated like so on vehicles and helicopters giving the effect of the flag flying in the breeze.
Here's a picture of the reverse side.

Flag display is with the blue field facing front, so one side looks "correct" to the eye, the other backwards, but is actually correct. TW
Edit: BTW today is flag day. 6/14

Another great addition. I will OD the man or replace him if possible.
The inevitable question, "Is the generator going to be offered for separate sale?" or "Is the generator removable?"
I bet it is mounted by screws on the under side similar to the helicopters.
It's too modern of a generator, it's nice but not for me
Too bad it isn't track powered and a little more early/mid-century vintage. I'll pass on this one, but thrilled that Menards is offering so much as it is!

coach joe,
I would never eliminate the possibility offering a load as a separate sale but in this case, I would strongly doubt it.
As far as how the generator is mounted, Don (DMASSO) is right, the generator is held on by small screws.

Thanks Mark. It really is a nice generator, I figured it would be removable as most if not all previous flat car loads are.
Beautiful addition to the military family. Odd looking military caboose though! Still surprised it isn't Mikey Rooney! LOL
Nice car, will order today.
