I have a 263e on my workbench that has been significantly restored/messed with. At some point in the past it had its E-Unit replaced with the wrong type, and to fit it in the lever was removed and switching for the E-Unit power is handled by the switch on the backhead that used to control the chuffer.
I am trying to find the correct E-Unit to put back in. Based on pictures of similar locomotives and comparing those to pictures of E-Units I think it needs a 100-8 E-Unit. Olsen's doesn't list the E-unit number, or I'm using the archive incorrectly.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
