This design uses 3 modules constructed from 2" foam sheets, each 4'8" long with varying widths, which dove-tail together to create an 11' long layout. The layout can be easily disassembled and transported, with short sections of Lionel Fastrack bridging the modules. Minimum diameter is 36". The layout can be extended by widening the middle module, or by adding additional modules in the center.
Features a variety of structures including Menard's Power Plant and Morton Salt tower, with two OGR structures. One module includes tunnels and an On-30 loop with siding crossing a short trestle.
The outer loop is O-48 with O-60 easements. The inner loop is O-36 and O-48 with O-48 easements. Turnouts are O-60 with one O-72 "Y". The tracks connecting the two loops allow trains to swap between the inner and outer routes, but can also be used as interchange tracks which can hold two cars to be interchanged between the two routes.
