Admittedly I don't spend a lot of time on the Forum, compared to many, and I may have missed this, but it looks

like 3rd Rail has (again) cancelled plans for even a small run of NYC H-10 Mikados. (Yes, I reserved one - at light speed,

when I saw the offering). Maybe I'm missing it, but I don't see it.

No one to blame but my fellow NYC fans who seem to want only Hudsons, Mohawks and Niagaras. This is why we do not have

a model of the NYC K-5 Pacific (immediate J1a Hudson sire), either, I'm sure. (Exception: the 3rd Rail NYC Mercury Pacifics were stream-

lined K-5's; yes I have one.)

The Lima H-10 was the immediate ancestor of the Lima B&A (NYC) Berkshire, the first Super-Power loco; same designer, same builder.

Yet 3rd Rail is offering more than one version of the muzzle-loader PRR Mikado design. Why? Because the PRR fans put their money

where their Mikados are. (And just how many NKP and Erie Berks can we sell? Sheesh!)

Very disappointed, but not surprised. And I imagine that the T-3 electric will show up with the flying pigs.

Think of the money it saves me, though.
