4x4 Extension of layout

SJC,

If this is an "extension" you are dealing with, why are you looking at self-contained small layouts?

Show us your current layout and tell us where the "extension" will be added and maybe you will receive a few suggestions.

I'm a bit torn on what to do. I want obviously to run a train. I have a few definite "no" points

1) No 027 curves

2) No plain loops (if possible). 

I have a new Lionel 0-27 operating track section I'd like to use somehow. I'd like to get a switch or two in here as well. Again, NO 027 curves. Has to be 031 (or higher). 

Anyone have any good suggestions or track plans? I saw this layout on the internet and thought it was a neat plan but unfortunately, it is 027. 

Where did you get, buy that back drop????????????  very cool looking
