I am trying to update my TIU and remote. When I start the loader it tells me it can't find any com ports on my laptop. I am using window 10 64-bit. Anyone have a suggestion. I tried to set up the com port in device manager but it says it will not start

In Loader, select options and then search for com port. I don't know if you're using USB cable or a USB to serial cable. If the latter, you must have the cord plugged in for device manager to see it. All I use device manager for is to spot the port the computer has selected; I don't know how to set it up through device manager. Ia use Windows 7 64-bit.
Also, try it with TIU connected and powered on.
hi I'm using window ten also you must download the device driver from MTH, ill post the driver for you just below copy and save as target so you can tell the computer where you want the file ,some people like it on desk top other like it in the my mth files directory, by using the save as function you may save it where ever you want.
