Ok, my dcs has been working great for several months now.  Today when I turned on the Z4000 and pushed the control arm to 18 volts all 4 locomotives on that loop powered up.  I shut it down and tried it again with the same result.  The hand held controller had no effect.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What I'm really trying to say is that MTH stuff is pretty robust and most of the time it's something simple like a loose connection or dirty track or low batteries, or something along those lines. It's just a matter of finding it and fixing it. It's just the other 5% of the time when you send vital equipment away to Mike Wolf's repair gremlins and they charge you for something simple that you overlooked. I think you'll be fine though  If this doesn't work, then try and contact forum member Barry Broskowitz. He's a true expert on this subject and is very resourceful when it comes to DCS issues. I wish you luck in your O Gauge Journey! Cheers from the Frozen North!

Barry, if somehow the DCS signal got turned off, would the watchdog have been sent?

Mr. UP, if you power the TIU's internals through the AUX port, make sure the power supply hasn't gotten turned off.  If not through the AUX port, power must be on thru Fixed 1.  Look in lower right corner (near variable 1 input) inside TIU; is the LED lit?
