What I need is a source of supply for a nut driver set to rescrew in a side rod nuton my "J". Not sure what size nut, but for sure it is metric. I have been unable to find nut drivers this small.

Not sure what size you need, but MicroMark sells miniature nut drivers:
MICROMARK
and so does this place:

I thought MicroFasteners was the place I bought mine, but I couldn't find them on their website, it may have been MicroMark.

I made my own ones using allen screw from the hardware store.

I'll give micro mark a try. I work in a hardware store! Never thought of using hex nuts as drivers,we have lots, but not sure if we have any metric. As this hex bolt on the engine goes, it is on the valve gear and kind of inset some. I, not sure if the sidewall of a hex nut will fit into the valve inset.

As far as I know Hillman is the supply for Ace HS, They have metric and std screw.
and fit perfect!. I made them for may Williams 773 engine.
Why I don't like the set,because most the time there is a pair that you never use.
So I decide to make my own ones.
