Maybe i'm way off in my thinking, but, Lionel seems to be catering to the high end buyers of scale stuff, or offering very unrealistic toy like trains to attract the kids. There's really nothing for those of us in the middle who neither have the space for the full scale stuff or the pockets deep enough to buy it, but want realistic trains. Still waiting for a Lionmaster I1 Decapod, and an E6 Atlantic without Legacy at an affordable price point (at $500 or less). Let me guess??? It won't happen.

Just last night a Polar RR (PRR) K4 conventional engine ended at $266 on that site.  I was chasing it, but had just bought an 11224 E6 as well and so didn't chase hard.  Point is that is a scale K4 just like the legacy engine's but without the legacy and that is cheap. They can be had.

I like the E6.  I don't need any more diesels.  I did a double take on the prices particularly the B60's; I have the original Weaver B60 and an RPO they did at the same time.  I think I paid about $60 each.  Nothing makes me want to run out and order anything.  As was said, it looks like stuff that has already been produced - nothing really new

Did you notice they listed them as 11 1/4" overall length? I know it's a typo
