Good evening folks,

I have a mth ps-1 Western Maryland gp9, 20-2175-1.  I would like to put a bcr in it, and to that end i tried to remove the shell to see what style battery it had.  It seams that the handrail are attached to the frame and yet are still bent into the shell.  So even when you remove the body screws the shell still doesn't come off.  Has anyone had one of these early mth geeps apart and if so how do you do without wrecking the handrails?

All input appreciated,

John Z

Thanks triple G.  anyway I played with it more this morning and found a few more body screws.  It turns out that the side handrails do indeed stay with the shell, its just that the bottom of the handrails is a metal piece that basically tucks under the frame making it look like its all one piece.  One I got the additional screws out I was in business.

Anyway got the body off and it needs a bcr1, (9-volt style)
