I decided I need a snow plow even though it is 80 degrees today but need help deciding on which one!

Dont forgrt older MTH Premier [which is what the Atlss O unit was] as well as tge Railking line of a Gondola with a wedge plow and weights.

I slso have to mention the old MTH premier Jordan Plow/speader.

It biols down to your preference. Do you want t he cutsie faux lionel unit or the more realistic scale like MTH premier units? Ho we about the MTH Railking rotary, that also rotates the blades!

I think you need a jet snow blower.

I pre-ordered the Strasburg snowplow available only through the TCA site. Limited quantities, they're made by Atlas.

For a while there, you could commonly find O scale brass winged push plows in shows and auctions, and l grabbed one and slapped it on three rail archbars, with couplers.

There are lots of previously released mth plows (same as Atlas) and Jordan spreaders on ebay if you shop there.

Currently theres a BNIB UP version in silver paint for $49.99.

I'm not sure how well those Lionel rotory units run. The higher level of detail on the MTH plow, pushed by your favorite loco may be just as fun.

I have a New Haven Russell snow plow. Now the Atlas version.

I like that the best as far as looks. The rotary models do have a fun aspect.

Here's an old chestnut that I've posted before. I repurposed my MTH "snow" plow to a kudzu cutter. For those who know the invasive sub-tropical Japanese vine called "kudzu", this cutter's need is obvious. If you don't know kudzu, you probably need a snow plow.

I have that one above (CR) and the Jordan (D&RGW), both are quite nice and very easy to two-rail.

Here are two Lionel self powered units , No. 18458, and the No. 81443. Rio Grande units, obviously. Both have TMCC. The newer one (No. 81443), shown at the bottom, has a can motor (actually, two motors), and the 18458 has a Pullmor motor. They're a lot of fun to operate. The 81443 will let you can remotely start and stop the rotary, having a separate motor for its operation. They haven't made a UP version yet, but may in the future. It would be pretty easy to paint out the Rio Grande lettering and replace it with some Union Pacific decals, though. It's already painted in yellow, close enough to pass for a UP unit! If I wanted a UP version, that's what I'd do. Eric Seigel had a good review of the 81443 in operation here:
