Did ives make a 3236r in white. This set doesn't have much paint left to be sure or is it a old repaint.

I had heard of such sets in white, but never saw one. Rumor has it that they were painted white for an Ives dealer that wanted white sets to sell in his store, that were less money than the original 3243 white sets. Just a rumor of course. The set you have pictured is almost impossible to tell due to the extreme amount of paint loss.
The cars are all in the same shape the roofs have no paint & the loco has even less. Thxs I was curious if these were originals or a real old repaint.
You most likely have the 1925-26 version in TAN.
