At a flea market type store I saw a Lionel item I had never seen before. Can someone shed some light on this and maybe value?
It is a white cardboard tube that holds two "D" cells. There are 'fahnstock' (sp) clips on the ends for wires. It is white with LIONEL on the side along with the later Lionel chasing arrows symbol. An end unscrews for battery insertion.
I've no idea what this might have gone to, maybe not even train related. Lionel was fairly well diversified during this time.
If it's still there this weekend I may try and purchase it, or at least get a photo.
