The above company ( Model Tech Studios) has a number of crane kits on their web site-one ( O scale scrap metal work crane) looks like it may be a good "fit" for a MOW flat car with a crawler crane. Anybody have anty experience with this product? Thanks-turtle7

I built one many years ago. Seemed to go together okay. Model Tech stuff looks good. I think the boom was made of a card stock like material and was a little tedious to put together. I could be wrong as it’s been a while. Everything fit together without issues.
The other one you might want to check out is from Crow River Products. I haven’t built one. But have built a few of their kits. Real quality with mostly metal castings and resin.

I can also recommend Crow River products without reservation. This is an industrial magnet like you would see at a scrap yard or steel mill. Insert a button magnet and weather it a bit and you've got a realistic detail.

I built the Crow River utility crane kit. It is a high-quality kit of white metal castings (with VERY little flash to clean off) and brass wire. Instructions were also very good.
Thanks to the responders. I do like the Crow River "stuff", but unfortunately they dont have a crawler crane. Happy Holidays to all you in the model train world !!
