Here is the third and final Scenery Video of our club layout.
I am going to start this week off with Val's UP's exiting the yard.
This was from Saturday's run secession.
The second video just finished uploading. Here is Val's Train as it crosses over from Track 3 (the inside main) to Track 2 (the center main).
North Western's coal unit train, westbound from Boone, Iowa.

Another look at the BN mixed freight.
Jim, I like that BN video!!! But what is that riding on top of the truck trailer?!!!
Pete, that is one of two cameras that has been circling our layout since early January. One of our members has been taking many hours of video from several trains as they cover the railroad. As this project progresses you will start seeing some amazing intergrated videos of our trains and our layout. Please be standby for some amazing video in the next few months.
I think you are gonna enjoy them.
Hope to see you again soon.
Hey guys - those are some great videos. Sante Fe Jim, you got it down brother. You are a true model railroader. Bravo!
One more for this week. Here is Val's Grain Train crossing to the center main.
Cross-over from Track 1 to Track 2 to Track 3 and into the yard.

Thanks Jim!! Looking forward to the videos and visiting your club again soon.
Love the videos. Sante Fe Jim, I have gleaned you are a Chicago guy. What is the name of your club? I'd like to check that out sometime. It looks fantastic.
William,
I live in Tinley Park. Our club is in Griffith Indiana. It takes me about 25 minutes to drive to the club. I see that you are in Lake Villa. For you it would be about a 90 minute drive. Our next open house is next weekend, April 1st and 2nd. Hours are from 10:00 to 5:00 both days. Admission is free and there plenty of parking in our lot.
Come early and bring your family and friends.
Our address is 201 N. Griffith Blvd.
Griffith, Indiana

Here is a quick video... Hope to take some new videos in the future....

Lots of great videos here !
Thanks for sharing !
Here is some Indiana POWER on the point of a long intermodal train.
Here is a video view of our control panel as see by the Yard Master.
From that board power can to turned on/off for all 20 of the yard storage/staging tracks. In addition, trains can be routed to an y of the 3 main lines eastbound or westbound. Fun to operate but you must be alert and expect feedback from the engineers as they clear the the entrance and exit feeds as well as the main line cross-overs.
The control panel design was a joint effort between Jim Williams and myself. However Jim Williams, President of Dream Layouts, built, wired, installed and debugged it.

This is my favorite part of the forum. Real model railroaders displaying their talent. Jim, outstanding as usual. jDaddy, awesome mountain and bridge. Very impressive.

In a way. After all its all flat land with no terrain features.
J Daddy nice layout although tripod is nice. Wind buffering the drone makes it challenging. All great vids.
Jim saw the email. Glad you figured it out before I could reply. So here is mine for Monday.

J DADDY - Lookin' good, I'll take a quart of chocolate please.
BNSF exits Wendt Yard.
Quick shot of the Yard Master's Command Center. We employ four Z-4000's. One for each main line and one dedicated to powering the 20-track storage yard, all the yard switches. the two Back-to-back Wyes at the throat and all ten turnouts that include: from the yard to the main and all the main-line crossovers. Basically every switch that to you see on the panel.
Another three-for-all. Mark H, Jim and Mark S all passing through Kow-Pye curve.
Well is a Milwaukee Madness Monday guys! No wires but it sure is fun to run this Little Joe.
I will start today's videos with Mark's l-o-n-g ore drag powered by four powered 3rd rail F-units. POWER to burn.
Jersey Central Heritage unit in action.
Joe, I think you may have forgot to "publish" your video. I get the "Video not available" message.
