hi to all. I have to run engine(3.0) in reverse mode,if running long hood forward. is this normal?

Normal. That is how the engine is wired- it's not even a "programming thing". Again, at the factory, they wired the engine harness and lights harness short hood forward and so that's how it runs....

And the coupler harness- since that too is directional....
