I happen to have a 9' x 2.5' credenza in my office that has been begging me for an N scale layout.  It's very insistent.  I work for an automotive group in Wisconsin.  Thus, I would like to model both grain hauling and some car delivery.  I'd also like a yard for rolling stock.  I'm not sure if this is overly ambitious or not. I've seen some Kato packaged layouts that give me the sense this can be done.  My problem is that I'm not imaginative enough, or experienced enough, to draw the layout.  I'm curious if I could get some assistance in drawing up this track plan.  I'd love some elevation change, but I think I can accomplish that by building on 2" foam board and cutting away where I want lower ground or bridges and so on.  Any help would be appreciated.
