I downloaded Railmodeller Express on my MAC and I've been trying to use it for a few days now but I keep running into problems and get frustrated and quit.  Does anyone on the list have any experience with this software?  I remember reading on one of the posts where someone had downloaded it and was using it.  If so would you mind contacting me at sptrainnut@att.net or you can post your responses here also.  It seems like it is a fairly nice track planning tool but I can't find any instructions on how to use it but I have figured out how to lay track with it, just can't seem to be able to move it if I need to.  I have a roughly 16X12' room.  I want to build an around the walls type shelf layout as a temporary until I can negotiate some space for a nice layout.  The around the walls will be used for being able to see my trains run.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks and have a great weekend.

sptrainnut - I sent you a note.  I tried Express thinking I might get the full feature version.  I was able to do most of the basic layout I was planning.  I did not run into any roadblocks I could not figure out, but missed my old RRtrack accessory libraries.

SOOO, I dug my old XP laptop out of the basement and it booted !! (with no internet connection).  I can run my full featured RRtrack ver4.  So I'll run this until it crashes, saving myself $39!

Note:  My RRtrack ver4 was upgraded from V3, so it will not install on Win7 or Win 10, (confirmed by Russ Becker).   So I couldn't run it on Mac boot camp.  And my MAC won't natively run XP on Boot Camp.  Turning on the old XP is easier.
