Yes it’s lockable. I live in a very safe crime free neighborhood. My main concern is Hurricanes. I’m considering reinforcing it with aluminum angle and epoxy around the top and bottom inside joints.
Aren't the effects of humidity on the metal parts and electronics of the engines and cars, etc., a concern?

First off, they’re designed to be outside. However, because of where I’m at, the humidity does excellerate the corrosion of the brass track I’m using. I need to clean the track fairly often. We actually just had a Nor’easter blow for over a week here. I recently obtained a G scale cleaning unit from eBay. The bodies are plastic so they are not a problem. As we all know, oil and grease doesn’t hurt metal😜
