I located my Lionmaster AC12 SP Cab Forward a few years after I purchased it.  I had some issues getting it to run; however, I was to work through those.  I have it running in Conventional and TMCC with both my Cab 1 and Legacy units.  In all three modes none of the cab lights (headlight, number boards or marker lights) operate.  I've tried a reset and reprogram, with no luck.  The tender lights all work as required.

I found it odd all three of the front lights would go bad at the same time.  Any suggestions before I have to open it up and try swapping them out?  I may not have any spares unless I cannibalize some from another engine. I'd like to use the engine for my Halloween layout.

Thanks,

David

Hi David,

This is a known problem with this engine. As Ron said it will have to come apart.

A mate of mine in the UK club has this engine and it suffered the same fault.

I am sure there was information on the forum on how to fix it. It was a long time ago but I think it was some a issue with the routing of a metal strip under the Cab that provides the power to the lights. I am sure someone here will have details.

Nick
